Sporadic Es - 10 june 2012

This years sporadic es season starts already around
the 8th.May but the propagation was very unstable
or totally absent during the rest of May.

Today was the first intense Band II Es opening of the season
into GRC and TUR at my location.
Listening time 08.00-11.35 UTC, local time is UTC + 2 hours.

  1. hi john great to see you back and i have missed you on skype ... great logs and great tv grab .... beleive it or not this is my worst season ever and there is nothing interesting happening in scotland and b1 conditions are so poor but everyone else is receiving alot. i hope it picks up soon or i will need to move to 50 mhz :-) .. cheers david

    Thanks for your compliments !
    The season is bad here too, not as bad
    as in Scotland but it could be a lot
    better.
    I often remember myself to those fantastic
    Es in the '90's - the good old DX days with
    lots of tropo and es.

    Just saw on UT your nice catch from Jordan
    on E3. I had this one too at the same time
    as yours.
