Sporadic- Es in Band 1 from Ukraine - 16.05.2013

I had strong video yesterday afternoon from Inter/Ukraine om channel R1 - 49.750 Mhz.

Suddenly Inter faded out and a unid tx popped up



Matthias and Ulli from the German UKW/ TV-DX-Forum wrote that the unid is the 200 watt transmitter MEGA-TV from Vinnytsya/Ukraine.

So there is still something to discover in today's times of switching off ....

Sporadic E on OIRT FM band with RTL stick and SDR Console V2

A big OIRT FM band opening this afternoon to Belarus/Ukraine and Russia.
This was heard with the "famous" RTL stick.

Sporadic Es (TV) - 29.04.2013

First signs of Sporadic Es was noticed this afternoon in TV Band 1. It started around noontime on Channel R1 with stable video from Inter/Ukraine, 1 TV/Russia and BT-1/Belarus.

WWNN 1470 kHz AM Radio

A personal first was logged on 10.02.2013 at 0700 on 1470 kHz = WWNN from Pompano Beach/Florida.

XEVOZ 1590 La Mexicana, MEXICO

Nice signals from Mexico at sunrise on the 6th November. This was the strongest one 1590 La Mexicana - I also got a nice ID from XEAI Radio Formula on 1470 kHz and 2 unids on 1500 kHz, one with Spanish talk and one with SS music offset 1499.84 which could be tent. Santa Rosa from Lima/Peru.
